Kelsey Park is a large park within LB Bromley, Beckenham, that serves as an important wildlife habitat but also as a community hub. As a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) as well as being adjacent to the Manor Way Conservation area, it is widely seen as being one of the LB Bromley’s flagship parks.

Leadenhall led the delivery of two separate NEC construction contracts for; Lake Desilting and a new pedestrian bridge. The projects, delivered by two separate contractors, ran concurrently within close proximity on the same site.

The projects include silt maintenance to an existing  Silt Trap, Upper Lake and Lower Lake, and required extensive dialogue with the Environment Agency with subsequent Flood Risk Activity Permits (FRAP).  Leadenhall led delivery of each project from RIBA Stage 2  - 7, maintaining close community consultation with careful site management, to ensure the safe use and access of the public park.
